Winnipeg is the home of Electronic Dance Music (EDM) Artist Dylan Felgueiras, who has, like every artist, a dream of sharing his music with the world. His current single is making the rounds, and knowing he can do much better with all the right stuff, this young Canadian has launched a Kickstarter campaign to seek out angel investors to help him get the equipment he needs to move out of his bedroom and into a proper home recording studio.
Felgueiras has a business plan in place. Knowing that the music industry is as competitive as it is, he has taken as many steps towards success on his own as he possibly could. The next step is recording an album for which he needs better equipment and means for publicity and promotions.
"Most people say not to listen to what people have to say about you," says eighteen year old Felgueiras, "but I'm the type of person that uses that to my advantage. When someone tells me I'm not good enough or can't do something that gives me all the more reason to prove that I can do it."
Supporters can earn rewards from Dylan, such as pre-releases of the feature song and album downloads, in addition to T-shirts, posters and other promotions such as concert tickets and back stage passes.
