Pure Energy Centre today announced that the company is visiting China’s Capital Beijing to discuss hydrogen technologies. The company representatives will also travel to Shanghai.
The Pure Energy Centre will actively participate in their first exploratory trip to China with the aim to engage with local stakeholders as to how hydrogen technologies could reduce pollution caused by the transport sector in China. The visit will last for two days, one day in Beijing and one day in Shanghai and will be between the 30 to 31st of March.
The company will be sharing its expertise and different experiences on hydrogen deployment and discuss how the transport sector could benefit from hydrogen solutions, reducing fog and pollution due to vehicle emissions.
The Pure Energy Centre will discuss what are the different options from a technical perspective, while highlighting some of the financial potential barriers to the wide acceptance of hydrogen transport and fuel cell hydrogen applications.
The company’s experience in developing key hydrogen transport infrastructure including their hydrogen production systems, hydrogen high pressure compressors (up to 900 bar) and their hydrogen fuelling stations is of key interest worldwide.
The Pure Energy Centre will also take the discussions toward the important safety case of any project.
Dr. Ross Gazey, Technical Director of Pure Energy Centre, said ‘We are delighted to be discussing our past and current development in hydrogen technologies. Our intellectual property portfolio on these technologies is considerable and we are aiming at deploying our technologies in Asia and beyond in the coming years. These are timely meetings that are very exciting for us as a business. We want to develop long lasting relationships and this is the first step in doing so.’
Vincenzo Ortisi, Pure Energy Centre Senior Technical Sale Manager, said ‘I am very happy that we are engaging in initial discussions in China in particular and in the near future in other countries on the Asian Continent. We all know the issues related to pollution and to be at the heart of the development and deployment of hydrogen free pollution technologies can only be beneficial at global level. We truly hope that there will be a Hydrogen Asia Association in the future similar to the one in Europe and Scottish Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Association (SHFCA). We are proud to be championing hydrogen technologies through our SHFCA Directorship and we would be happy to be part of an Asian Hydrogen Partnership if this comes to fruition’.
The two days discussions will aim at developing relationships and exchange of ideas as to what hydrogen technologies can do on the Asian continent.
