Set in a dysfunctional family where DESPERATION is at its worst testing one's limitations, relationships and FAITH. To bring this story to life, the makers of STICKS have launched an Indiegogo campaign to raise production funds from angel investors and sponsors.
The film's writer and director, Seth Christian, is no stranger to making films or the film festival circuit having successfully made two other wellreceived films – Discover Kasper and Salvation Jane. His directing has won awards and he is seen as a rising directorial star. Executive Producers on the team also have several successful film credits under wrap. The team prefers to film in Tennessee, so monies raised will go to help keep the local film industry working as well as items necessary for local filming such as generators required for mountain shoots. They also must purchase insurance, as this film is to be shot in snake country and if anyone is bitten in the crew, it will become necessary.
The film will be shot in a gothic tone. The film makers offer several rewards for sponsors that include copies of the film, their name in the end credits, behind the scenes private access, lunch with the film makers, premiere tickets, tshirts, film score CDs and much, much more.
