Former 300-lb Trainer Cracks Code on Obesity

New book by former 300lb. personal-trainer-turned-therapist says most of the, over 60 billion dollars a year, Americans spend on weight loss products is wasted and will never work.

Orlando, FL - September, 30 2014 - In his new book, Fat to Fearless, Subconscious Behaviorist Asher Fox says that his experience as a 300lb. personal trainer who was unable to control his own weight is the ultimate example of why traditional diets and exercise programs don't work for those with life-long weight loss struggles. Despite having the highest credentials and education in the fitness industry, the how-to knowledge of diet and exercise didn't allow him to overcome the emotional eating issues that he says is at the root of most people's weight issues.

After years of struggling with obesity and believing that learning about proper nutrition and exercise would solve the problem, Fox turned to studying psychology and emotions, specifically the subconscious mind, to understand why he wasn't able to lose weight and keep it off. He discovered that his problem was common and that he wasn't the only dieter to spend thousands of dollars trying to lose weight only to sabotage themselves when they got close to their goals. At the heart of his book is the premise that subconscious beliefs, often hidden and from childhood are responsible for most people's emotional eating issues. After years of education and experimentation, Fox found that no single discipline held the answer, but it was instead a synthesis of several fields that yielded permanent results for him, and subsequently his clients. Combining psychology, subconscious behaviorism, clinical hypnotherapy, neuro-linguistic programming and emotional freedom techniques into a comprehensive and integrated approach, Fox developed a system that not only transformed his body and that of his clients, but also reportedly improves quality of life well beyond what would be expected from weight loss alone. While his book readily admits that not over eating and physical activity are necessary to achieving permanent weight loss, he says they are useless as long as your subconscious mind which controls over 90% of your choices is programmed to work against you. Fox has a variety of ways that potential clients can take advantage of his Fat to Fearless program. In addition to his book which outlines the entire program, he also offers audio and video support programs, online coaching as well as private sessions in his Orlando office.

In his book Fat to Fearless, Fox begins with his personal story, which illustrates that he has indeed walked in the shoes of those suffering from life ling yo-yo-dieting and weight loss issues and illustrates how this experience allowed him to create his inside-out weight loss programs. According to his book, his ideal client is someone who has struggled to lose weight for years, has a history of losing and regaining pounds, feels they are truly ready to change their behavior, and realizes that losing the weight permanently is more than just a physical transformation.

Asher Fox is a Subconscious Behaviorist, Cognitive Behavioral Coach, and Clinical Hypnotherapist, who for over 18 years has specialized in helping those who suffer from being chronically overweight heal the subconscious issues that drive them to eat emotionally . Asher is a pioneer in the integration of several fields of study into a comprehensive therapeutic approach that creates rapid and lasting improvements in the lives of his clients were prior forms of therapy and treatment proved ineffective.
