CVUSD recognized for outstanding efforts and accepted into League of Innovative Schools

Cajon Valley Union School District was accepted into the League of Innovative Schools, an organization committed to finding and spreading new and innovative ideas in education.

In October of 2015, Cajon Valley Union School District was accepted into the League of Innovative Schools. The League is a national coalition of school districts partnering together to improve student outcomes. Organized by Digital Promise, an independent, bipartisan nonprofit organization authorized by Congress to accelerate innovation in education, the League partners with other leading educators, entrepreneurs, and researchers. Together they assess the potential for impact that technology and other innovations will have on education.

CVUSD was selected from a pool of applicants and chosen because of their vision, potential for impact, and commitment to networking and sharing the knowledge gained in the new innovations found in education. Districts chosen to be in the League of Innovative Schools like Cajon Valley Union School District have teachers and staff that provide their students with successful innovations that prepare students to excel in a global economy.

As a member of the League of Innovative Schools, CVUSD is in contact with the most innovative and successful schools districts in the United States. The CVUSD governing board has some amazing things planned for the future of CVUSD, playing off ideas from districts in the League around the country. The projects that have been implemented within the school district earned CVUSD Congressional recognition as one of the top 73 school districts in the nation.

Members of the League of Innovative Schools encompass 93 districts in 33 states.The diversity that these schools represent in the United States creates a perfect testing ground for new approaches to teaching and learning. The techniques being pioneered by these districts set students up for learning in the classroom and in life. As a collective voice, League districts champion for positive change in public education.
