Cajon Valley Union School District, in conjunction witn TED-Ed, will be hosting the district's educators conference, Evolving Education, April 19-21, 2018. Evolving Education will feature change-makers, innovative educators, and administrators from K-12 and beyond to collaborate on learning as a community. The event will be held in the beautiful new Courtyard by Marriott in El Cajon, California.
This hands-on event uses the collaboration between TED’s education division, TED-Ed, and Cajon Valley Union School District to explore the most innovative learning models, technologies, and the best education practices out there today. As one of the top innovative school districts in the country, Cajon Valley is at the forefront of transforming education and amplifying students.
With the TEDxKids@ElCajon event marking the close of the conference, Evolving Education will also feature guest speakers, activities around the community, and networking. The agenda also includes talks by leaders in education, insightful breakout sessions, and interactive discussions.
Travel and hotel expenses are the responsibility of the registrant, but a special rate of $125/night, plus taxes and fees, is available to those attending the conference. Space is limited, and you must book by March 30th to guarantee this rate. Conference tickets include attendance to all conference sessions, meals, and community events. There is a $99 conference registration fee, which includes breakfast, lunch and dinner, as well as a welcome reception.
