Magline Celebrates 70 Years of Customer Service and Best Practice

No company stays in business for 70 years without practicing extraordinary customer service. This year marks 70 years that Magline has been in business. It marks 70 years of outstanding customer service.

According to Kari Michalski, the Magline Manager of the customer service team, patience is at the top of the list in great customer service. With Magline since 1999, Michalski emphasized that when dealing with customers on a daily basis, we stay patient because they come to us stumped and frustrated; we enjoy taking the necessary time to truly and accurately figure out what each customer wants; we get it right and patience is listening and responding thoughtfully.

Listening to customers, even those that have been purchasing over the past 70 years, is central to great customer service. Magline regularly reviews customer feedback systems, and reviews the data. It is this feedback look that drives the heart of product innovation and modification.

Michalski noted, “It is important to pay attention to individual customer interactions…watching the language and terminology used to describe pain points and problems…but also mindful and attentive to the feedback provided by the customer service team.”
