The Volunteer Jam was started way back in 1974. Proceeds from the event go to benefit the Journey Home Project. Their mission is to whose mission is to connect donors with organizations that meet the healthcare, education and career needs of veterans. Charlie Daniels (the host of the event) announced the artists today: Trace Adkins, Ted Nugent, Billy Ray Cyrus, Tracy Lawrence, Craig Morgan, Colt Ford, Oak Ridge Boys, Michael W. Smith, Travis Tritt, Montgomery Gentry, and many more.
This year's event, due to popular demand, will be held at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, TN on August 12th.
