Release date of iPhone 6S: Expectations from it in 2015

A lot of possible buyers are eagerly anticipating the changes which the next iPhone 6s will bring. It is speculating that apple will make announcement of something new this spring but this also does not mean that this new series will be released then. We have no clue about the Apple plans for 2015 and there is yet to be scheduled a release data for the iPhone 6S, but knowing Apple's history then we may get the slight picture on the general expectations from the new iPhone series in 2015.

The latest iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 plus have been released several months ago and now we constantly hear rumors about the much anticipated release of the iPhone 6s series.

Apple is intending on scheduling a release date for the new Apple watch this spring but is yet to make an announcement and we all know that there is absolutely no reason speaking from business point to unveil a new iPhone version along with the Apple watch. So it is to be expected that the release date for the iPhone 6S will not be announced at CES 2015.

In the past four years the new iPhone series were announced by Apple in the autumn. Even though the major rivals like Samsung, LG and HTC introduce their new smartphones at spring, currently Apple does not intend to change the release cycle of the iPhone family.

  • iPhone 4s: October 15, 2011
  • iPhone 5: September 21, 2012
  • iPhone 5s and iPhone 5c: September 20, 2013
  • iPhone & iPhone 6 6 Plus: September 19, 2014
 
Moreover, this also is not a guarantee that the new iPhone 6S will be released in the autumn of 2015 but still it is a good sign on what to expect from the iPhone version in 2015.

Set your date for September of 2015

If you choose not to purchase the iPhone 6 and anticipate for the iPhone 6S series then you will probably have to wait until the end of September. The last three versions of iPhone were released at this time of the year meaning that we should await the release of the iPhone 6S. Also this is possible date of release because it is in the proper time of the year for replacing the old iPhone 5 devices contracts with the operators for the new iPhone 6S.

Will it be iPhone 6S or iPhone 7?
