Clover Flat Elementary school has received the honor of being named a 2017-2018 Honor Roll School. The Educational Results Partnership awards school with this title for high achievement and student success. The Honor Roll program is sponsored by the Campaign for Business and Education Excellence, an alliance of national business leaders who identify and recognize high-performing schools and districts. Clover Flat Elementary is one of 1,798 public school in the entire state of California to be recognized.
Schools that receive the Honor Roll distinction have demonstrated consistent high levels of student academic achievement, improvement in achievement levels over time, and a reduction in achievement gaps among student populations. Being named a 2017-2018 Honor Roll school is due to all of the dedication and hard work of staff and students at Clover Flat Elementary, where the motto is Clover Kids Can!
Clover Flat uses a wide range of collaborative teaching methods to produce excellence in students and to close the gap of achievement felt in many schools. The elementary school in Boulevard, California uses flexible seating, whole brain teaching, and visible learning to give every students a well-rounded education. Students at Clover Flat also benefit from positive behavior learning and reinforcement and an indoor gym to ensure their education goes beyond the books.
Educational Results Partnership (ERP) is a nonprofit organization that uses data to chart pathways that lead to future success in careers. Like ERP, Clover Flat Elementary is committed to ensuring students grow up to be equipped with the skills they need to enter the today’s demanding workforce.
