Mobile Industries is happy to announce that we have partnered with Tynan Equipment Company of Indianapolis, Indiana and Susan G. Komen in support of the Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
A special pink pallet truck has been developed that the Tynan Equipment Company will sell to their customers in the Central Indiana area to raise awareness for the most common cancer among women across the globe.
Breast Cancer Awareness Month
Breast cancer awareness month is a push to bring issues to light and lessen the shame of breast cancer through education on symptoms and treatments. It is the hope of supporters that with greater knowledge, earlier detection will be possible, which is connected with increased, long-term rates of survival, and that funding raised will deliver a cure that is permanent and reliable.
October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month with its most prominent symbol being the pink ribbon.
Susan G. Komen
Susan G. Komen, commonly referred to as Komen, is the most well-known, biggest and best-supported breast cancer organization in the United States and has grown to become the world’s largest nonprofit source of backing in the battle against breast cancer.
Since its 1982 inception, Komen has invested more than $2.6 billion and as a result of their efforts in research, community outreach, advocacy, programs and partnerships around the world, death rates have been dropped by 34% since 1990; and help boost the 5-year relative survival rates of early-stage cancers from 74% to 99%.
