Creator of Heroes Manufactured Launches Kickstarter Campaign

Yaron Betan, the creator of Heroes Manufactured, a news documentary about an artist trying to break into the comic book industry, has launched a Kickstarter campaign to raise funds for production and distribution.

Yaron Betan, the inspirational creative force behind Heroes Manufactured, a news documentary about an artist who is trying to break into the comic book industry, has launched a Kickstarter campaign to raise funds for the production and distribution of this movie.

The movie is shot in the form of a news documentary about a Canadian comic book artist who is trying to break into the industry while facing the reality of the Comic Con market.  According to the creator, "In the obvious world of mass production and celebrity media craze, we exploit the reality of producing super heroes in a market saturated with artists, writers, celebrities, cos-player's and everything else the comic-con markets have to offer."

Heroes Manufactured was designed to promote comic book artists across Canada who offer hard work in illustrations, cover art and pencil and ink work.  So far, a great deal of celebrity content has been filmed featuring stars such as Tom Savini, Ty Templeton, Mike Tyson, Malcolm McDowell, Norman Reedus of the Walking Dead, Ray Park of Star Wars, Christian Slater of Mr. Robot, Jason Momoa of Conan the Barbarian, and other popular talent.  The film will also feature interviews with experts in the comic book field, all designed to support the film's premise of supporting the unseen, talented artists who make comic book work possible.

As seen at https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1134164404/heroes-manufactured, the Kickstarter campaign offers pledge levels from $5 to $1,000, with rewards ranging from post cards to signed comic book art posters to tickets to the movie premiere.
