One of the most popular science-fiction TV stars of the ‘90s will return to the genre with Star Leaf, a new film that's snaring an extra cosmic boost in buzz because of it's fantastically unique and topical storyline.
Actor Robert Leeshock, known for playing Liam Kincaid on the eternally popular sci-fi series Earth : Final Conflict, steps behind the camera for the 2015 release.
The curious storyline involves a group of friends who go in search of a secret forest of marijuana hidden deep in the Olympic Mountains but stumble upon much, much more. When the group steal an out-of-this-world leaf, they find themselves under attack by both alien entities and demons.
Leeshock, also known for his role as Keith on Beverly Hills 90210, became a pin-up star thanks to the success of Earth : Final Conflict, created by Star Trek’s Gene Roddenberry, which ran from 1997 to 2002.
Star Leaf is expected to be released in 2015.
