Purchase Guide
The flow rate (i.e., water output) of a water pump should generally not be too high, as this will increase the cost of the pump. The pump should be selected based on specific needs. For example, for a self-Priming Pump for home use, a smaller flow rate should be chosen; for a submersible pump for irrigation, a higher flow rate can be chosen.

1) Choose a water pump based on local conditions. There are three common types of agricultural water pumps: Centrifugal Pumps, axial flow pumps, and mixed flow pumps. Centrifugal pumps have a higher head but a lower output, making them suitable for mountainous areas and well irrigation areas. Axial flow pumps have a higher output but a lower head, making them suitable for use in plain areas. Mixed flow pumps have a water output and head between centrifugal and axial flow pumps, making them suitable for use in plain and hilly areas. Users should choose a pump based on the terrain, water source, and water lifting height.
2) Choose a water pump that meets the requirements. After deciding on a pump type, consider its economic performance, paying particular attention to the pump's head, flow rate, and the power supply it supports. It's important to note that the head (total head) indicated on the pump's label differs from the actual head (actual head) during use. This is due to resistance losses as water flows through pipes and adjacent piping. Therefore, the actual head is generally 10%-20% lower than the total head, and the water output is correspondingly reduced. Therefore, in actual use, estimates should only be based on 80%-90% of the head and flow rate indicated on the label. When selecting a power supply for a pump, consider the power indicated on the label. To ensure quick startup and safe operation, the power supply may be slightly higher than the required power, generally about 10% higher. If you already have a power supply, select a pump that matches the power supply.
3) Follow strict procedures when purchasing a pump. When purchasing, you must check the "three certificates", namely the agricultural machinery promotion license, production license and product inspection certificate. Only with all three certificates can you avoid purchasing obsolete and inferior products.
