Building vehicle charging infrastructure in the Middle East is really tough. It is not about installing the charging stations. The extreme heat, dust and sun all affect how well the charging stations work. From my experience working with people who make electric vehicle charging stations it is very important to understand these things so we can build systems that really work in these harsh environments.

In the summer it can get very hot in the Gulf over 50 degrees Celsius. The electric vehicle charging stations have to be able to handle the heat and the heat they make when they charge the cars quickly.
