The New Zealand Electronic Travel Authority (NZeTA), a program that waives visa requirements, went into effect in July 2019. It allows eligible people to visit New Zealand for transit, business, or pleasure and removes the hassle of getting a visa at an embassy.
NEW ZEALAND VISA FOR LATVIAN CITIZENS
An electronic visa waiver known as NZeTA is necessary for tourists from Latvia to New Zealand. For citizens of the 190 nations that do not require visas, including holders of Latvian passports, visa waivers are necessary. The New Zealand eTA is valid for two years and allows for numerous entries for brief stays. To obtain an approved eTA for New Zealand through email, citizens must also pay a processing cost known as the International Visitor Conservation and Tourism Levy (IVL).
NEW ZEALAND VISA FOR US CITIZENS
All foreign nationals, including US citizens wishing to travel to New Zealand, must have a valid visa endorsed on their passports or have the New Zealand ETA (Electronic Travel Authorization) if eligible under the visa waiver program. Only Australian citizens with no criminal or deportation records from any country can enter New Zealand for tourism, study, and work without a visa. Australian permanent residents are required to obtain a New Zealand ETA before traveling.
The New Zealand Tourist ETA also known as New Zealand Electronic Travel Authority (NZeTA), is an electronic New Zealand visa waiver that gives US passengers the permit to enter New Zealand multiple times without a New Zealand visa USA.
Travelers can apply for the ETA online or through authorized agents without visiting the New Zealand Embassy. Unlike a visa, making an appointment or presenting the original documents at the Embassy or any New Zealand electronic travel authority is unnecessary. However, this privilege does not apply to all nationalities. There are about 60 countries that are eligible to enter New Zealand with the ETA approval, including US citizens.
NEW ZEALAND VISA FOR LUXEMBOURG CITIZENS
The Electronic Travel Authority or New Zealand eTA or Online New Zealand Visa is a visa waiver system for those countries that have the special right of being Visa Free, in other words, do not need to visit the New Zealand embassy. They have the luxury, comfort, and right to an electronic visa waiver which is an entry requirement for visa-exempt countries. Citizens will be pleased to know that as Luxembourg citizens, they qualify for NZeTA.
Luxembourg citizens can travel to New Zealand without requiring a visa and stay in New Zealand for 90 days or 3 months. This special treatment of applications for expedited travel to New Zealand is known as authorization or eTA or Electronic Travel Authorisation. This eTA was introduced in 2019 for the comfort of Luxembourg citizens.
NEW ZEALAND VISA FOR MACANESE CITIZENS

Citizens of 190 visa-free countries, including holders of Macanese passports, must get visa exemptions. Macanese citizens can travel to New Zealand without requiring a visa and stay in New Zealand for 90 days or 3 months. This special treatment of application for expedited travel to New Zealand is known as authorization or eTA or Electronic Travel Authorisation. This eTA was introduced in 2019 for the comfort of Macanese citizens. The New Zealand eTA is valid for two years and allows numerous entries for short-term visits. Because the eTA is electronically linked to a specific passport, travelers with multiple passports should use the same passport that they used to complete the eTA application to go to New Zealand. Applicants must complete the New Zealand eTA application form with their personal and passport details.
NEW ZEALAND VISA FOR MALTESE CITIZENS
Malta passport holders can visit New Zealand without a visa, in other words, they are Visa Waiver country and eligible for an NZETA and stay for as much as 90 days continuously on a single visit. However, Maltese citizens ought to apply for an Online New Zealand Visa before departure to New Zealand. Since 2019, a New Zealand eTA from Malta has been a mandatory requirement for all Maltese travelers heading to New Zealand for three months or less. To live for longer than 90 days, or to work, or stay, a different type of Visa is required by the Maltese citizens.
