Grainrus has been named second at the regional stage of the Exporter of the Year competition for the large businesses in the basic agro-industrial complex.
The company's business line dedicated to the production of Russian malt under the company’s own brand “Kursk Malt” was admitted to the competition.
In 2022, export supply of malt brand "Kursk Malt" increased several times. According to the Head of the business line Dmitry Morozov, “This fact testifies to the highest quality of the brand’s products, its popularity among beverage and food manufacturers both in Russia and abroad.”
Among the products under the Kursky Solod brand, there are 20 varieties of barley, wheat, oat, rye, and buckwheat malts. The company's products have been winning prizes in Russian and international industry competitions: “Quality Guarantee 2021” of the Federal Scientific Center for Food Systems n. a. V.M. Gorbatov of the Russian Academy of Sciences, “All-Russian Brand. XXI Century”, and others. The malt has been exported to 15 countries on 5 continents.
The competition is held as part of the International Cooperation and Export national project with the support of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia, the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia, the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia and the Ministry of Digital Development of Russia. Its all-Russian status indicates that the government is willing and ready to support exporters under any circumstances.
In 2022, the Exporter of the Year is awarded in 19 nominations, including six main (separately for SMEs and large businesses) and five additional (depending on a company’s size) nominations.
About the Award:
The Exporter of the Year award was launched by the Government of the Russian Federation to encourage organizations and individual entrepreneurs who have achieved exceptional export results. The award based on the results of the competition is a symbol of state recognition of exporters’ merits in strengthening national economy and introducing Russian competitive products into foreign markets.
The organizational and technical support of the Award is provided by the Russian Export Center.Prizes are awarded to organizations and individual entrepreneurs that have achieved the utmost success in the export of non resource-based non-energy goods, works, services, and the results of intellectual activity.
