DeFli Networks - Providing Infrastructure to the Unmanned Aviation Industry

DeFli Networks (a subsidiary of UAV SYS INTERNATIONAL) are delighted to announce that their decentralized infrastructure network for the unmanned aviation (UA) industry is now fully operational.

DeFli Networks offer deployers and operators access to an infrastructure network that includes:

A purpose built, global, aviation-grade receiver network for ADS-B, ADS-L and Mode-S transmissions. This enables UA operators compliance with Identification requirements whilst also broadcasting data to other aircraft including commercial and military.

In addition, the data obtained from the received transmissions is used to build the “air surveillance” element of the DeFli UTM. The DeFli UTM is the traffic management arm of DeFli and enables operators to plan routes, obtain approvals and communicate directly with their fleet in real-time on BVLOS missions.

A dedicated LTE-Satellite-SDR Receiver network that offers secure command and control facilitation via a virtual private server.

A dedicated charging and hangar network for hosts seeking to extend the range of their operations without increasing fleet capacity or having to factor in continual “returns to base”.

DeFli Networks are building out the infrastructure network using “rewarded hosts” with the rewards being delivered in the form of cryptocurrency and varying in size depending on the quality and uptime of the host setup.

David Vaughan, Programme Delivery Manager for DeFli Networks said “A reward based hosting scheme is the quickest and most cost effective methodology for building a global network. As ADS- B operates on a global frequency we believe a vast network is instantly scalable thus enabling us to offer services to the entire UA industry ubiquitously. The BVLOS sector is on the precipice of significant growth and we feel that our infrastructure projects will accelerate the deployment of drone services as we reduce overheads for deployers whilst enabling compliance”.

DeFli networks also work with central bodies in building schematics for identification and air corridors whilst offering direct access to their ADS-B powered air surveillance programme.

Parent company UAV SYS INTERNATIONAL are responsible for the production of hardware that enables UA operators to retrospectively equip their fleets with lightweight ADS-B transceivers, LTE connectivity and charging pins. They also build CPU style products to enable UA manufacturers to incorporate functionality at system level.
