Inventor of the One Step Broom Hooks and Reels in the Original Shark

Ray Saluccio, the inventor of the One Step Broom, is excited to announce he will be teaming up with Shark Tank’s Original “Shark” Kevin Harrington to launch his patented household product, the One Step Broom. The infomercial pioneer is known for his surgical approach to delivering new inventions to market. With tailored blueprints, the Harrington team has had a hand in catapulting products to hit success over the last several decades.

Saluccio mentions that Harrington “was a breath of fresh air,” just when the One Step team needed some oxygen. Kevin’s VP of Business Strategy, Christen Hagan, candidly advised on the testing process without over-promising, as many in the industry tend to do. “While we have the formula nailed down for launching new products on the market, ultimately this is a test and the consumer will decide,” states Hagan.

Kevin kicked off the relationship by recounting some of their massive successes and failures over the years with live shopping, direct-to-consumer, and retail channels. Kevin’s son Brian Harrington oversees the company’s many product campaigns and is thrilled to be working with the One Step team. Together, they will create the infrastructure and kick off the One Step Broom online marketing launch, with the aim to one day become an international sensation and a household name.

Ray Saluccio is an established inventor and entrepreneur based out of Colonia, New Jersey. Saluccio currently has 11 published patents and counting. He owns multiple businesses and is revered as an honest and loyal man dedicated to his vision. In 2011, Saluccio was a finalist in the prestigious Entrepreneur of the Year awarded by Ernst and Young.

The One Step Broom would not be where it is today without the help and loyalty of its early investors and shareholders. Joe Florentine and the Florentine family, owners of Florentine Holding, believed in Ray’s vision from the start, wowed by an early 3D prototype. Other investors who supported One Step tremendously are Julio Nunez, owner of JAR Capital, and Angelo Peluso, owner of Peluso Landscaping and Commercial Development. Ray’s sister Cathy played an instrumental role in the back-end workings of One Step. Ray also credits his cousin Bobby Lombard for always being his “go-to guy.”
