Chavonne Hurdle launches her debut book

Motivational speaker, author, and mobile therapist, Chavonne Boyd-Hurdle, releases her first book titled “Scrapes and Scars,” where she chronicled her childhood and how to overcome child sexual abuse

Chavonne Boyd-Hurdle is a volunteer appointed to advocate for abused and neglected children, with her passion for care-giving ensuring that she continuously fought for the betterment of children. Her childhood was not particularly smooth and she has used her experience growing up to motivate and help children with similar experiences to overcome their challenges. As part of Chavonne’s drive for developing the future of the society, she has released a book titled “Scrapes and Scars,” detailing her childhood with the aim of helping children that are suffering from similar situations.

Millions of children across the globe suffer from different life issues that have often been attributed to inadequate care and attention or total neglect from their parents, guardians, and the society at large. These children often end up being miscreants and nuisance to the society. Chavonne Hurdle is consequently creating what looks like a solution to many of the societal ills by providing parents and guardians a somewhat guide to giving children the care and attention they need to become responsible members of the society.

The book is a chronicle of the life of Chavonne, detailing how she overcame an extremely challenging and abusive childhood to become the woman she is today. After years of child sexual abuse and continuous torture, Chavonne was able to overcome the agony of her childhood experience. She learned through an experience that would ordinarily have broken her, defeating her obstacles and contributing her quota to the society.

The book has already started to receive accolades from reviewers and readers across the globe, described as a “must read” by reviewers. “Chavonne’s journey is abusive, disbelieving, and most heroically redeeming.”
