For over a decade Matthew Silver has enthralled the world with his unique brand of street performance art. He went viral in 2014 with his ‘Words of Wisdom from an Unexpected Citizen’ video which has over 3 million views and was recently re-posted by Justin Bieber. He has been featured on The Moaning of Life, Adult Swim’s Off The Air, and MTV’s Ridiculousness. The Love Fart Awakening is the culmination of his life's work spreading love and laughter throughout the universe.

Created by Matthew Silver and Lance Soler The Love Fart Awakening is a scripted series that constructs its narrative through unscripted encounters. Like the film Borat it uses hilarious moments in real life to move the narrative forward. Filmed on location in the most beautiful set pieces New York city has to offer.

Series Ark
Matthew arrives into the word traveling from a different dimension; landing directly in the New York subway. He begins to interact with people to spread his message of love. Unbeknownst to him his every action is being watched by an evil presence known only as The Mover. As Matt tries his best to take his message to the street he’s consumed and controlled by an omniscient force. Every cell phone recording him is actually an eye watching his every move. Soon he is transformed into the very corporate mechanisms he fights. After breaking free from the curse he begins a mission to track down The Mover and end his tyrannical grip on the world. This takes him across the most beautiful locations of New York city until a final showdown on a rooftop between him and his nemesis.
Lance Soler (Co-Creator and Director)
An up and coming talent in the Canadian film scene, Lance Soler has spent over six years working in all aspects of the industry. After producing promotional videos for Ubisoft’s Watchdogs and Warner Brothers Arkham Asylum he went on the compose original pieces for Simon Pegg’s The Search For Happiness. He has spent the last two years as the director of digital media at GFZ Studios, a company responsible for the Fly Across Canada attraction.
He worked as the special effects supervisor for Thomas Middleditch’s latest feature Entanglement and produced a National Film Board of Canada funded feature Cadence which was selected as the Must See BC film at VIFF.
As a Metis Canadian Lance also received CMF Aboriginal funding for the development of his short animation the Last Broadcast From Earth which was selected for Spike & Mike’s Festival of Animation as well as debuted at Comic Con in San Diego.
Future Season Concepts
1. Season 2: Matt To The Future
A version of Matt from the future is teleported to the present with a dire warning of things to come. He wanders the streets of New York trying to find his present self in order to warn him of the pending apocalypse.
2. Season 3: The War of Wars
After connecting with himself from the future Matt begins to gather a team of other New York performers to begin the greatest battle of all time. He must assemble his squadron of unlikely heroes in order to battle the forces of evil to prevent a dire future. It will feature a rainbow of the greatest street performers in the city.
Series Pilot and Proof of Concept
The digital series was produced in the summer of 2017 by Matthew Silver and Lance Soler.
