Also known as Gunner de Medici, Christian de Medici recently announced the launch of his fashion line aimed at making unique fashion clothing and accessories for men and women. Called Xtian de Medici, the newly launched fashion brand is a luxury fashion that features different collections that stand it out from the competition.
The clothing and accessories line reiterates what Gunner de Medici stands for after his exploits in the adult film industry as an actor and a filmmaker. The brand features XES collection, XESsories, the Nephilim Xperience and Atelier Medici lines. Gunner de Medici made a name for himself in the movie industry, breaking into limelight in 1998 after he launched a "reality" pornographic website, GunnerWorld. His adult entertainment business quickly expanded, leading to the creation of other niche websites that earned him many web design awards, launching a heterosexual website in 2009. His retirement from adult film making in 2014 led to the birth of Xtian de Medici and the fashion House of Medici.
Before launching the fashion brand, Gunner has always been in and around the fashion world, working as a model and costume designer after he was approached by renowned photographer, Bruce Weber when he was just 12. Bruce introduced him to Eileen Ford of Ford Models in a bid to groom him to become a top model.
Gunner taught himself how to design and sew during his time with Ford Models, designing a wardrobe to match the concept he created for the artist himself and the album while recording an EP simply entitled “Christian”.
The brand seems to bring a new twist into the fashion world with the use of -conventional and non-conventional materials, designs and styles to create a wide range of XES collections (men and women) and XESsories. His clothing and accessories pay close attention to body consciousness and detail, a design feature he brought over from his previous careers as a model and a filmmaker. The brand is also offering free shipping on any of its collections and fashion pieces.
"I cast my own molds, sculpt, paint and fabricate many pieces by combining textiles with art," he said. "By adding leather, chain, plastics and all that glimmers, I make clothing that appeals to a fast-growing market: a market of individuals that are marketing themselves … and I’m no stranger to that."
