Houston, TX (September 29, 2016) — Linbeck Group, a Texas-based, technology-driven building construction firm, is proud to announce it received seven Awards for Project Excellence (APEX) from the Houston Chapter of Associated General Contractors (AGC). AGC Houston created the APEX award program in 1994 to honor firms for excellence in the construction industry.
Linbeck was recognized and honored for its excellence in construction, its valuable contributions to the community, and its demonstrated commitment to skill, integrity, and responsibility with the following: two Gold awards for KIPP CONNECT Houston and KIPP Unity Primary School; three Silver awards for JLABS at Texas Medical Center, University of Texas MD Anderson MRI / 9 Renovation, and Houston Methodist Orthopedic and Sports Medicine Building; and two Bronze awards for Kelsey-Seybold Main Campus Expansion and Bay Area Regional Medical Center – Phase I.

Linbeck was chosen from more than 80 entries representing the AGC Houston Chapter members. The entries were judged on Friday, June 24 by teams of APEX judges composed of owners, architects, engineers, and other representatives of the A/E/C industry.
Linbeck representatives were on hand to receive the awards during the biennial event on September 10, 2016 at the The Astorian in Houston.
