He is a highly-trained and qualified radiologist with a vast expertise inall facets of his work. Dr. Maxfield has been practicing for more than 62 years and is currently serving as a Radiologist at Hyperbaric Care in Odessa, Florida.
Dr. William S. Maxfield gained his Doctor of Medicine degree at Baylor University, graduating from there in 1953. An internship was then completed at South Pacific General Hospital, with a residency following at the John Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, and then a fellowship at Maxfield Clinic Hospital. Dr. Maxfield has also worked extensively with the United States Navy, carrying out vital work with their Plutonium Decontamination Team.
Dr. Maxfield is triple board certified, in Radiology, Nuclear Medicine, and Hyperbaric Medicine, and has had 38 articles published in medical journals, as well as featuring in nine scientific exhibitions. He comes from a long line of physicians, including his father and brothers, and says that this has been the secret behind his success. When not working he enjoys traveling, and is an art connoisseur.
