Since its premier on October 9th, 1986, “The Phantom of the Opera” has been a hit on musical stages around the United States and abroad. In 1988, this musical, originally written by Gaston Leroux, and converted into a musical by Andrew Lloyd Webber won a Tony Award for “Best Musical.” The show at the Princess of Wales Theatre in Toronto will run through Saturday, January 23rd.
