Summer is a prime time for moving. Children are out of school and families use this time off to get situated in their new home and neighborhood before another school year begins. “Becoming familiar with people who are on the Board and understanding its mission and purpose can encourage homeowners to become more involved,” says Kuester. “When they feel welcomed and a part of the community, they want to help make it a better place and offer their talents.”
