TAMARI, Fresno’s premier destination for Japanese spirits and dining, is excited to announce a special event to celebrate the Year of the Horse: the Fire Horse Japanese Whisky Tasting. On Thursday, February 26, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, guests are invited to explore a world-class collection of spirits in a relaxed and welcoming setting.
The event features a unique "passport" system, allowing guests to journey through 12 different whiskies from famous Japanese makers like Suntory and Nikka. Designed to be a relaxing night out, the tasting will be held in TAMARI’s comfortable ambience, with indoor and patio seating available. Heaters will be provided to keep the vibe cozy and fun.
"We wanted to create a simple, relaxed way for people to taste the very best Japanese whiskies," said Edward Yung, Owner of TAMARI. "The Fire Horse event is all about enjoying great drinks and light Japanese snacks without any stress. It’s the perfect way to spend a Thursday evening."

- Premium Tasting ($175): Includes everything in the regular tasting plus rare, high-aged pours like Yamazaki 18 and Hakushu 18.
