Blake Alma, the 24-year-old entrepreneur and CEO of CoinHub Media, has made a significant contribution to the future of aspiring business leaders at Pensacola Christian College (PCC) with the introduction of the CoinHub Scholarship. This initiative aims to support students who demonstrate a strong entrepreneurial vision, reinforcing Alma’s commitment to education and innovation.
Since founding CoinHub Media in 2022, Alma has built an impressive career in numismatics, amassing over $4 million in coin and silver bullion sales, primarily through the Whatnot live-streaming app. Despite his rapid business success, Alma made the decision in late 2023 to enroll at Pensacola Christian College, the alma mater of his parents, balancing both his education and the continued remote operation of his company from Lebanon, Ohio.
The CoinHub Scholarship, now available for eligible continuing freshmen, sophomores, and juniors at PCC, was developed in collaboration with the college president and the scholarship director. While the scholarship emphasizes entrepreneurial aspirations, Alma has stated that it is not a strict requirement for applicants, ensuring a broader opportunity for students who demonstrate ambition and a desire to make an impact.
"When I was younger, I worked in the outdoor media community, and my goal in that community was to convince the older generation that my generation isn't all that bad," said Alma. "Now that I've gotten a little older, I think my goal now is to convince my own generation that we are not really all that bad. And I think that's why God wants me here at Pensacola Christian College, and that's why I'm eager and ready to help in any way I can."
Alma’s dedication to fostering young entrepreneurs and investing in future leaders through education reflects his belief in giving back. His journey—from a teenage outdoor media personality to a multi-million-dollar business owner and now a college student—embodies the spirit of perseverance, faith, and vision that he hopes to instill in scholarship recipients.
The CoinHub Scholarship is another example of Alma’s mission to bridge generational gaps, challenge stereotypes, and uplift his peers. With PCC’s long-standing emphasis on academic excellence and Christian values, the scholarship stands as a beacon of encouragement for students aiming to pursue both business and faith-driven success.
