Ely, Cambridgeshire - October 16, 2024 - Nicholas Hythe Kitchen Design Studio, Cambridgeshire’s only Trading Standards-approved designer and installer of bespoke fitted kitchens, is excited to announce the opening of its second retail showroom at 4 Minster Place, Ely, the former site of the Edinburgh Woollen Mill. The new showroom is currently undergoing extensive refurbishment and is scheduled to open in late November 2024.
This expansion into Ely has been driven, in part, by the company’s long-standing success in the region. Having designed and fitted many kitchens over the years in and around Ely from our existing showroom in St Ives, Nicholas Hythe has developed strong relationships with local homeowners, which made opening a dedicated showroom in the city a natural next step.
“Opening in Ely is an important milestone for us,” said Ross Halliday, director and co-owner, whose Nicholas and Jordan families trace their roots in Ely and Littleport back to 1648. “We’ve been fortunate to work with so many wonderful clients here already, and this new showroom allows us to better serve the Ely community looking to renovate their family’s home. Having spent so many school holidays here and with many family members still living in the city, we feel an incredible connection to this place and are excited to serve even more Ely area residents by providing easier access to our services.”
Showroom Refurbishment and Appointment Availability
The Minster Place showroom is currently under construction to create a welcoming, state-of-the-art environment that showcases a wide variety of kitchen styles and designs. Clients will soon be able to explore fully fitted kitchen displays, experiencing different layouts, finishes, and materials that can be customised to their personal tastes, needs, and budgets.
While the showroom is being refurbished, Nicholas Hythe is already offering home appointments with their expert designers for projects homeowners want to start in 2025.
