"9 to 5: The Musical" is a vibrant adaptation of the iconic 1980 film, with music and lyrics by Dolly Parton and a book by Patricia Resnick. Set in the late 1970s, the musical follows the story of three women—Doralee Rhodes, Judy Bernly, and Violet Newstead—working at Consolidated Industries, a male-dominated company. Fed up with their sexist boss, the women band together to transform their workplace in a series of hilarious and empowering events.

The musical reflects the ongoing struggle for gender equality in the workplace, resonating with modern audiences as it emphasizes themes of female empowerment and solidarity. The original film, inspired by the real-life organization 9 to 5, founded in 1973, sought to fight for respect and equity in the workplace. This adaptation continues to highlight the importance of standing up against injustice and advocating for change.

Her ability to convey Judy's transformation from a timid newcomer to a confident and empowered woman captivated everyone who saw the performance.
