Dr. Schenkman’s dedication to his profession took him to private practice in Napa, California, and to Travis Air Force Base in Sacramento. He served in the United States Air Force from 1997 to 2001, specializing in oral surgery, particularly wisdom teeth extraction and conscious sedation. He further honed his skills during a four-year Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Residency at Temple University Hospital, where he became Chief Resident in 2005.
