There are countless evils in the world, and one such evil is envy. Envy; is an emotion that can destroy everything in its path if a person decides to act on it. We all want something we don’t or can’t have, and when the bitterness of not being able to get that gets to our heads, there is nothing that can stop us from walking on a path of destruction that wrecks not only the object of our desire but also ourselves.
Doors is the story of a young man who escapes from the war-torn Middle East to begin a new life in Canada, where he can finally embrace his true self. Good things don’t always come to those who wait, though. Love, friendship, betrayal, loss, sickness, he experiences it all and makes it out alive, not realizing that the real evil in his life is lurking just beyond his door.
He got diagnosed with HIV, which he got from his lover, but that did not slow him down since he was resilient and ready to take on anything that crossed his path.
Due to an influencing attribute, everybody looked up to him. He moved forward in his life, made others do the same, and was never disappointed with his past. It was when he found love again, something he had not anticipated after contracting HIV, and went on living the rest of his life with him, but at the cost of being kidnapped and getting tortured for days and eventually losing a close friend.
Because of his dedication and devotion toward his loved ones, he continued to live the rest of his life overcoming the hurdles not just for himself but also for others to bring comfort and happiness in their lives and promote compassion.
