Tips for shooting through the glass ceiling as a successful entrepreneur

Every now and then, you’ll get a groundbreaking idea, that’s wonderful, but there’s a problem. What’s that? It’s the implementation and practically gaining the results. Entrepreneurs bring in new ideas every now and then, but not many can break past the glass ceiling that’s transparent to the eye but thick enough to stop numerous ideas from going through.

The question is, who actually goes through it? The answer: Only the handful of entrepreneurs who have what @cauricecrawford has defined;

Determination

The determination to stand by your idea when nothing’s going your way. Determination is the entrepreneur’s primary weapon when attacking the industry and its audience. The audience and competition watch every move of an entrepreneur, a shaky determination, and you’ll fall short of the glass ceiling, let alone break through it.

Tip #1 for you is: Be determined and then make a move; no halfhearted activities will get you to the glass ceiling.

Risk-Taking

If you’re an entrepreneur looking to get yourself through the glass ceiling and stand amongst the handful who have made it happen, be ready to risk it all.

The problem with backups and safe play is they are reasonable, undoubtedly, but they can make you feel safe. And the feeling of being safe pushes you into your comfort zone that damages your will to give 100% for the idea. You’ll always sell better if you are convinced of the authenticity of what you are giving to the masses.

Be A Salesman

An entrepreneur should never feel like a boss – you’re always the first salesperson for what you introduce to the industry. And not only are you selling your idea to potential customers but also strategic partners and potential employees. As a salesperson, that’s what @hectorvasquezbjj calls himself. Even after multiple successful ventures of his own, he advises every entrepreneur to be hell-bent on the authenticity and success of their product.

Once you’ve mastered this art and set of skills needed to be an entrepreneur, you’re equipped to shatter across the glass ceiling.
