Captain Geoff Haramis has carved a niche for himself in the world of sport fishing and he recently reestablished this position by catching a record-breaking day for Alpha-Won, alongside other enthusiasts of water activities.
“It really was an incredible day,” said Lou Avallone. “I give all the credit to Captain Geoff Haramis our mate Justin Roberts,” Lou continued.
The United States Coast Guard Licensed Master 200/500 Ton Captain is known for his passion for running and fishing some of the finest sportfishing boats to ever hit the rip. Throughout his career, he has navigated and fished across several regions, including the East and West Coast of Florida, as well as the Mid-Atlantic, Nantucket, Mexico, and all the places in between. Consequently, he has grown to become a sought-after brand in the industry while maintaining his exclusivity by working for only a very selected few sportfish boat owners and successfully building a strong track record. Therefore, his recent feat with Alpha-Won came as no surprise to many.
Alpha-Won raised five spectacular Blue Marlins, with the 55' Viking Sport Fish "Alpha-Won" out of Sailfish Point, Stuart, Florida with Captain Geoff Haramis. Captain Geoff Haramis was at the helm with Justin Roberts in the cockpit, along with owner and angler Lou Avallone. The team had a filled time back in May while sport fishing off Hopetown Light in the Bahamas in 1400 feet of water. Captain Geoff Haramis raised Five Blue Marlins, releasing 3 that weighed over 500 pounds.
“The area we were fishing has a very sloped edge and drop off, which holds a lot of bait. I have rarely seen a day where the bite was this consistent,” said Captain Geoff Haramis.
