March 4, 2019 - Polytimos Coin & the team behind Blockchain service provider PolyShield have begun a mutually beneficial relationship to offer hosted MasterNodes, shared MasterNodes, and staking pools for various cryptocurrencies. Polytimos’s POLY coin plays an integral role, functioning both as the payout for rewards or portion therein and to pay the fees incurred for certain services provided. Many new services are planned in the coming months for the newly launched beta platform PolyShield: (https://beta.PolyShield.online).
For many, hosting a master node is a daunting task, generally requiring a significant investment that must remain untouched to generate rewards. as is ensuring network uptime and updates to the MasterNode wallets. PolyShield takes the two hardest parts of owning a masternode and simplifies it for their clients. The MasterNode sharing program not only allows users to share in the reward of a MasterNode based on contribution, but also gives users an easy way to become a MasterNode (full or partial) owner.
PolyShield will require service any pre-paid fees for services to be paid in Polytimos coin to raise market value and allow natural research and development through growth, as well as creating strong demand for Polytimos. By using POLY coin as part of the payout system, PolyShield increases the overall transactions on the Polytimos network. Additionally, it creates awareness and steady volume for POLY.
How Master Node Sharing
For master node hosting, clients provide PolyShield with the coins to start. Users contribute coins in the MasterNode that is going to be started, based on the contribution, the user is given ownership over the entire node. Once PolyShield receives the coins, they set up, host, manage and pay out rewards. This service pays 25% of rewards in POLY. Instead of paying hosting costs upfront, PolyShield takes a 9% fee generated through the reward system. The MasterNode sharing system is in development, and will launch in the coming weeks. Beta platform includes a fully functioning stake pool.
Stake Pool Launch
The official launch of the PolyShield StakePool service is already underway and supports Bulwark (BWK), Frostbyte Coin (FSTX), Overpowered Coin (OP), and Experience Points (XP). coin holders of supported stake pools can now leave the work of creating, configuring, and maintaining stake wallets to PolyShield. Along with the maintenance, an increased stake frequency, and higher stake reward can be attained with pooling and configuration of the backend wallets in an optimal fashion.
Users joining a the StakePool side of PolyShield will only be required to pay a 3% fee, thus incentivizing users to enter the low-cost service. Generally, coin holders who stake independently receive far fewer rewards compared to those in pools, as their ‘stake weight’ is far lower than that of the stake pool. Optimized wallet configuration also increases the overall amount of each stake reward.
Master Node Hosting
MasterNode hosting will be implemented in the future of PolyShield as well, where users will be able to maintain full control over the wallets rewarded by the MasterNode, without having to provide control over any coins to PolyShield service. This process is also called ‘cold hosting’ because there is no need to let any private key that receives payments. This service will be paid up front, as opposed to being able to be paid from rewards, giving users multiple options in both payment and methods of acquiring MasterNode hosting / ownership.
In the Sharing service, a single user can acquire an entire node if they prefer to have their rewards pay for the service as opposed to paying up front, while at the same time having the rewards all managed by PolyShield and returned to their wallets, thus having to upkeep and maintenance to a minimum. This is good for new users or people who are unfamiliar with the constantly updating and changing industry of cryptocurrencies, the newest and most profitable coins, and maintenance of the wallets.
