December 27th, 2018 - With 92 percent of Americans age 18 to 29 owning a smartphone – quality customer service has never been more important. For example, people who feel they have received poor customer service by a business, be it a salesman or a restaurant, can now quickly tell the world about their experience, which may have revenue and business ramifications for days, weeks and years into the future.
Now, thanks to businesses like Facebook, AirBNB, Google, YELP and others customer reviews can potentially influence thousands depending on their customers influence and their smart phone’s settings thanks to the viral nature of social media.
That is why “Turn around” school superintendent Aaron Chavez, M. Ed, wrote “The Seven Laws of Viral Customer Service.”
With almost two decades of experience leading some of the most challenging school districts in Washington State and making customer service a top priority, Chavez realized there were not many consistent, quality customer service training materials, especially that emphasized simple steps to succeed in this current tech-savvy, smartphone generation.
Chavez explained the average business actually loses 15 percent of its customers each year to bad customer service. He added that the good news is if a business prevents just five percent of its customers from leaving, their bottom-line profit can be increased between 25 and 95 percent. He believes using his book’s seven laws and strategies can help you regain and acquire new viral customers.
Chavez wrote this book in the hopes his background would be useful in helping businesses adapt to this new technology and help build a movement focused on providing quality, old-school, world-class customer service experience, no matter what the business sells.
“The Seven Laws of Viral Customer Service,” published by Amazon, is available now and officially launches January 1st, 2019.
