The Central Authentication Service (CAS) platform allows each user to sign in once and access as many documents and applications as they desire. The robust system recognizes the user as they migrate across different documents. One of the vital operating designs is that CAS does not access the user’s password but uses an advanced mechanism to authenticate each sign-on.
