With years of experience in the pharmaceutical and life science sector, Creative Diagnostics recently launches superior brightness europium (Eu) chelate polystyrene nanoparticles in diameter of 0-400 nm to address the needs of Point-of-Care (POC), diagnostic lateral flow and other time-resolved fluorescent microspheres, which have great potential applications in lateral flow assays, Point-of-Care (POC), diagnostic assay, immunochromatographic and microplate-based formats, molecular biology, nucleic acid, hybridizations, and immuno/histological research.
DiagPoly™ Europium Chelate Polystyrene Nanoparticles perform red fluorescence (excitation=333 nm, emission=613 nm) with Eu encapsulated and effectively prevent leakage. The particles dyed with Eu chelate exhibit extremely broad stokes shift and long lifetime (0.5 milliseconds) than general fluorophores and achieve high sensitivity and low background as well as preventing non-specific fluorescence interference. After covalently binding with functional groups or ligands as carboxyl, streptavidin and protein A/G, DiagPoly™ Europium Chelate Polystyrene Nanoparticles possess the ability of specific attachment of target molecules.
Featured with high reproducibility and stability, as well as high sensitivity and low background, the newly released time-resolved fluorescent assays can be applied in various fields. For example, DiagPoly™ Europium Carboxylate Polystyrene Nanoparticles, 56 nm (#DEC-T001), which are chelated with Eu for extremely broad stokes shift and can prevent non-specific fluorescence interference, are functionalized with carboxyl groups (COOH) and can be applied in lateral flow, diagnostic assay, molecular biology and other time-resolved fluorescent research.
