Global Syn-Turf Celebrates Grand Opening of New Distribution Center in Dallas, Texas

Global Syn-Turf, a leading manufacturer of artificial grass in the United States and provider of related turf installation and maintenance supplies, today announces the opening of a new distribution center in Dallas, Texas that is dedicated to the Dallas-Fort Worth-Arlington metroplex, the largest inland metropolitan area in the United States.

The new distribution center and the warehouse, located at 1701 Vantage Dr. Carrollton, Texas spans 16,000 square feet and serves as the primary shipping and local pickup facility for Northern Texas. The new facility will provide access to more than synthetic grass 55 SKUs, as well as product staging, kitting, and customizable consolidated packing service capabilities. The facility represents Global Syn-Turf's commitment to sustainability and features 100% Lead-Free, eco-friendly artificial turf, tools, and supplies for efficient and quick turf installations.

"The new distribution center has been years in the works as we strive to support our clients’ needs across Dallas, Collin, Denton, Ellis, Hood, Hunt, Johnson, Kaufman, Parker, Rockwall, Somervell, Tarrant and Wise County," - said Rachel Brady, Global Syn-Turf's sales and marketing manager. - "The new location will improve the region's access to inventory and enhance the services we offer to our distributors."

Making efficient use of existing water supplies is the most economical and environmentally-wise way to support the fragile Texas ecosystem. While water steams provide enough water for animals and plants, the overuse of water can cause springs to dry out, endangering wildlife. According to studies done by the University of Chicago's Harris School of Public Policy, the damage from climate change in Dallas country will include 25 extra deaths per 100,00 people each year by the end of the century.

High temperatures, geography, soil dryness and the presence of frequent and long-lasting high-pressure systems that suppress rainfall in Dallas-Fort Worth, multiplies the certainty of more prolonged and severe droughts, scientists of the Climate Science Center at Texas Tech University predict. With a more than two hundred years history of droughts and extreme natural events in the region, conserving resources in a sensible, sustainable way is a part of a more systematic view of ecosystem management.

Replacing lawns with native, drought-tolerant plants and synthetic turf is the cost-efficient approach to reduce substantial mobility and economic loss.

"I am proud to announce the opening of our new distribution center in Dallas, Texas.  This facility will enable us to provide faster turn-around times and better service to our customers," - said Shannon Beck, Global Syn-Turf's Vice President. "We are extremely excited to join the community in North Texas. We know that environmental safety concerns run deep in this area, and we share that passion. I am confident our experience, passionate staff and the Global Syn-Turf's extensive selection of synthetic grass will help residents and businesses adapt to changing water strategies."
