Manhattan, New York - May 1st, 2018 - NeoDocto Malaria Eradication Program (NMEP) is a great initiative by Neodocto Foundation, USA. Neodocto Foundation was founded to fulfil the corporate social responsibility ideas of Neodocto Incorporation, which has its headquarters in New York and operates in a total of 81 countries.
NeoDocto Malaria Eradication Program has become very popular in several parts of India. Mr. Madhukar Sanneerappa, NeoDocto’s CEO and the Global President has personally travelled to many southern, western, northern and north eastern states of India to spread awareness among film actors, Mayors, Governors of the state, health ministers, rural development ministers, sanitation ministers, charitable institutions and various other respectful well-known dignitaries. Especially witnessing tremendous interest among youngsters, Mr. Madhukar met Principals of various colleges in the North east of India to ignite the drive among them.
Recently, Mr, Madhukar was invited by the Principal of the Don Bosco College, which is a popular boarding college located in a beautiful town of Maram in Manipur. Students were seen swarming the Global president shake hands, take selfies and autographs. After Collaborating with the Principal, Father Dr. K.O. Sebastian SDB and discussing the next strategies, Mr. Madhukar spoke to the large number of students who were eagerly waiting for his speech.
Mr. Madhukar motivated the students to identify their talent early, work hard and gave tips to bring out the best in them. He reminded them that North eastern states are highly endemic areas for malaria and everyone has to take keen interest to reduce and eradicate malaria in their respective houses and surroundings. He also talked about how NeoDocto Malaria Eradication Program can educate the students and how the students in turn can contribute to have a safer environment.
Under the leadership of Father Sebastian, the college achieved many milestones, particularly after the first cycle of accreditation. In the sphere of higher education in Manipur, the college has been identified as the trendsetter and also the pathfinder. In the first accreditation, the college earned B+ grade with a CGPA of 2.49, while in the second cycle that happened in 2015, the college gained A grade status with a CGPA of 3.35. After this great improvement shown by the college, the UGC accorded this college the status of College with Potential for Excellence or CPE.
The principal showed great interest towards the Malaria Eradication Program and he felt very privileged to meet the Global president personally. He promised to encourage his students towards this great initiative and believed that students could take up this task efficiently to change the course of the disease in coming years.
