February 7, 2018 - Chicago, IL - On February 24th, Keith Evans will be performing and recording a one night only stand-up comedy special at The Den Theatre in the Wicker Park neighborhood of Chicago. With 8 years as a stand-up comedian, Evans has been working his way up the Chicago comedy scene, the Midwest, and beyond.
Evans has revealed that the “Word Verbum Science” recording is the culmination of life lessons learned through his race, realizations about being a comic/father/future husband, and an “existential fart joke” here and there.
In 2012 Keith recorded “Local Hero”, his first special, in Crown Point, Indiana. Despite what many considered a successful release on Amazon.com, Evans brings a different mindset to the upcoming special. “’Word Verbum Science’ feels more legit,” said Evans, “and most importantly, more earned to me. I'm proud of all the work and life living I've done between then and now. Hopefully it shows at the taping."
Joining Keith to round out the line-up are his comedic friends: Michael Robinson, AlydarSkyy and Brad Rickert. The 2/24 show starts at 10 PM, but both tickets and parking are limited.
