Alfacon Solutions Automation Solutions Provider Suggests Guidelines for MODEX Attendees

Alfacon Solutions is an automation solutions provider, working closely with customers to design and implement solutions that will optimize the efficiency and productivity of an operation, according to John Murdoch, CEO of Alfacon Solutions. As the role of automation solutions is changing and rapidly impacting material handling challenges, Murdoch suggested some guidelines.  An experienced sales and engineering team will design a unique solution or work with pre-existing specifications. Solutions are designed to utilize industry-leading technologies and best practices.

While there are less expensive conveyors, some of the criteria for MODEX attendees to consider when selecting a conveyor solutions provider include: extensive industry knowledge, innovation and creativity, and value and integrity. Additionally, customer satisfaction a priority and recognition in the industry as top performing solutions provider should be considered.

Thoroughly understanding customers’ operations are paramount when devising a material handling solution that is a lean manufacturing, best-practice solution. Engineers work closely to gather the necessary information for a comprehensive data analysis and layout development. This information is used to provide custom designed solutions to include equipment, mechanical installation, electrical wiring, controls system design software and hardware, compressed air piping, testing, and training.

Alfacon Solutions, the leaders in Engineered-to-Order and Custom Conveyor, Lift, and materials handling solutions, will be presenting an educational seminar at MODEX 2018 called Adaptive Conveying on Tuesday, April 10, 2018 at 12:00 PM - 12:45 PM in Theater I. The seminar will be presented by Alfacon Solutions’ Ryan McMillan, Director of Engineering and John Murdoch, CEO.

The presentation will provide attendees an overview of a configurable conveying solution and how to integrate conveying solutions into automated vehicles. The presentation will have a focus on custom configurable conveying solutions as well as integration of conveying solutions into automated vehicles. The primary advantages and disadvantages of each type of solution will be discussed. Alfacon Solutions will exhibit at booth #B637.
