January 30, 2018 - The marriage of Erik Putzbach and Rafael de Marchena-Huyke will be one of the most spoken about events this year. The ceremony took place on January 6 in the beautiful home of Rafael de Marchena-Huyke in West Hollywood, California.
The new couple is one of the hottest subjects in Spain right now. Erik Putzbach has made a name for himself as a model and fashion retailer who also starred on the Spanish version of the television program Queer Eye For the Straight Guy. He has also worked as a fashion expert for the Spanish version of the Fashion Police television show and received the Dedal de Oro honor for his contributions to the fashion industry.
Rafael de Marchena-Huyke has attained many accolades and has served on various committees, too many to name. He is very well known for his philanthropy work around the States and abroad. His popularity has also brought him great fame in Spain, thanks to his prominent hair styling and design work for well-known celebrities and models around the world. He studied at the prestigious Comer and Duran Beauty School in California and holds a business administration degree from the University of Southern California. He has worked as a designer and decorator for many residential spaces around Los Angeles and Montecito. The couple has been profiled heavily in recent time and even appeared on the Sabado Deluxe television program. The pair has been heralded as being strong and loving while being supportive of each other’s needs.
The guest list for the wedding was particularly extensive. Family members from Spain and Colombia attended the special event. Michela Gelber, Lars Roos, Dr. James Gibbons and Jan Katz were among the many others who showed up to the event. More than a hundred invitations were sent out.
A beautiful buffet style lunch and stunning cake gifted by Mery Gray was served and displayed among arrangements of beautiful fresh flower décor. The eventful day also featured full entertainment from singers Pamela Clay who sungLa Vie en Rose, and baritone Juan Carlos Heredia. Heredia came from the LA Opera Domingo-Colburn-Stein Program and featured accompaniment from Milena Gligic. The LA Opera group was responsible for getting the entertainment organized as a special gift to the new couple. Dan Manuel, one of the country's most accomplished pianists also performed and Father Geoff Farrow served as the officiant.
The evening came to a beautiful close as their friends and family members bid the new married couple a goodnight.
