In order to promote the cultural heritage of Morocco and share values of peace and tolerance, Menara.ma, one of the major portals of information and services in Morocco, has decided to support the Moroccan Association of Ibn Battuta, organizer of the International Festival of Ibn Battuta (IFIB), which will celebrate its second edition from 9 to 12 November 2017 in Tangier, under the theme "Travelers, Ambassadors of Peace".

Founded in 2015, the Moroccan Association of Ibn Battuta is the first association to promote the character of Ibn Battuta, his message of tolerance and his writings. It also aims to accompany the project "Tangier Metropolis" in terms of culture and tourism.
The International Festival of Ibn Battuta, which highlights the legacy of the great traveler Ibn Battuta, offers a varied program including various activities in several areas of Tangier.
Many conferences are scheduled during this great meeting of peace and tolerance, along with literary and artistic exhibitions, cinematographic projections, socio-cultural activities, and carnival and a musical parade that will tour the neighborhoods of Tangier’s city for four days.
