British Columbia, Canada - Jul 01, 2017 - Whytes Watches Ltd. (Whytes) of British Columbia, Canada will release their latest collection of watches on Kickstarter to celebrate the Canadian 150th Anniversary of Confederation. The watches mirror in their design the 150 years of the history of Canada.
“Our watches are created from the finest precision parts brought together by artisans to form a single sophisticated timepiece. Each detail conforms to our stringent quality standards and culminates in a watch that Canada can be proud of and which will become an heirloom for generations.” Said the spokesperson of Whytes Watches Ltd while talking about the services offered by the company.” He added. According to the spokesperson, Our watches are produced in limited editions. In this way we can ensure consistent high quality, focus on design, and retain exclusivity in every collection.”
With two designs, each 40mm in size, and in two face colours, there is a watch suitable for any wearer and at a price that defies the quality of the watch. The 150M watch (M for Manual) is both elegant and professional when combined with its stunning leather strap. With its surgical steel case and sapphire crystal glass (only a diamond can scratch) it is as strong as it is beautiful. Utilising the Japanese Citizen Miyota 82S7 watch movement it reflects both the rugged workman who worked on the Great Canadian Pacific Railway through to the now culturally diverse population that is now Canada
The watches are named after memorable Canadian phases and terms relevant to the watches that existed in a time period reflecting the look and feel of each watch. “Terra Nova” being the original name of New Foundland and “Sea to Sea” outlining the length and breadth of Canada. “True North” is from a line in the Canadian anthem and refers to the proud and loyal nature of Canadians and “Inukshuk” is a human made stone landmark which serves as an Inuit cultural symbol.
Whytes goal is to bring the classic art of watch making into British Columbia, employ local people and local companies in making quality items. The plan will take 3 years to fulfil.
