Damaged partition data recovery for NTFS FAT32 EXFAT file system

by Aid file recovery

So once the partition is damaged, you can no longer access that partition to read or modify the files. They only way for you, if you want to retrieve them, is to find and install a damaged partition recovery software to retrieve files from damaged partition. And after recovery, you can fix the damaged partition by formatting or fixing.

File system is the main component of any operating system like Microsoft Windows. It is responsible for managing files and directories on your hard drive. It is very prone to failure and it may render all of your hard drive partitions invisible and inaccessible. At the same time, your computer may become unbootable and all the stored data becomes inaccessible. When a it got damaged, the file and drive becomes RAW. In such cases, you need to go for Partition Recovery solutions to retrieve missing, lost or inaccessible hard drive partitions and stored data.

NTFS has several technical improvements over the file systems that it superseded – File Allocation Table (FAT) and High Performance File System (HPFS) – such as improved support for metadata and advanced data structures to improve performance, reliability, and disk space use.

In order to overcome the volume size limit of FAT16, while at the same time allowing DOS real mode code to handle the format, Microsoft designed a new version of the file system FAT32, which supported an increased number of possible clusters, but could reuse most of the existing code, so that the conventional memory footprint was increased by less than 5 KiB under DOS. Cluster values are represented by 32-bit numbers, of which 28 bits are used to hold the cluster number.

exFAT can be used where the NTFS file system is not a feasible solution (due to data structure overhead), yet the file size limit of the standard FAT32 file system is unacceptable.

Data on a hard disk drive can be unreadable due to damage to the partition table or file system, or to (intermittent) media errors. In the majority of these cases, at least a portion of the original data can be recovered by repairing the damaged partition table or file system using specialized data recovery software such as Aidfile; It can image media despite intermittent errors, and image raw data when there is partition table or file system damage. This type of data recovery can be performed by people without expertise in drive hardware, as it requires no special physical equipment or access to platters.

Use "Unformat" to recover data from damaged partition after quick format, full format, accidentally formatted, reformatting, High-level formatting, Low-level formatting.

Use "Recover partition" to recover data from partition changed or damaged or deleted

Use "Full Scan" to recover lost files if partitions show as "raw" or recover deleted data files which cannot be found with "undelete" and "unformatted" and "recover partition", recover data files from raw partition, recover data files of partitions which are not NTFS, nor exfat, or fat32, after showing an error, display as raw file system, unformatted, unknown partition, unpartitioned, needs to be formatted.
