“I wanted to do something creative to promote the charities dear and close to my heart,” said J.J. Hebert, founder of Mindstir Media. “I’ve always felt that giving to charity is one of the most fulfilling acts a person can take part in, but this year I decided to take it a step further and openly recommend my favorite charities to the world. I’m hoping to help make 2017 a banner year for these charities by helping to raise funds…”
Mindstir Media supports and suggests five literacy charities listed on its charity website, including First Book, which has provided 125 million new books and resources to children in need. Another one of its literacy charities is Project Night Night, which donates over 25,000 Night Night Packages every year to homeless children 12 and under. Each Night Night Package (a new canvas tote bag) includes a security blanket, children’s book, and a stuffed animal. St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital is among the three research non-profit organizations that Mindstir Media avidly endorses.
Visitors of the website can easily see all eight of Mindstir Media’s preferred charities and donate to them with a few clicks of the mouse. Each charity on the site is shown with a full description and a donate link that brings the visitor to the donation page of each respective charity, all of which are non-profit and tax-exempt.
