George Strait fans in North America are thrilled that their favorite country performer, George Strait, has come out of retirement and he will be the very first performer at the new Las Vegas Arena set to open up in April, 2016. In September, 2012, Strait announced that he would be retiring from touring and that his "Cowboy Rides Away Tour" would be his final tour. This sold out tour ended at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, TX on June 7, 2014.

He has also released a brand new album entitled “Cold Beer Conversation,” which is Strait's first new studio album in two years. His last release was entitled "Love is Everything" with hit songs "I Got A Car" and "Give it All We Got Tonight."
His supporting act for his concerts in Las Vegas will be adorable country singer, Kacey Musgraves. Recently, she released her second album "Pageant Material" and she provided support to Katy Perry during her "Prismatic World Tour" along with support to Willie Nelson and Alison Krauss in their tour.
Over his long and storied career, George Strait amassed 60 No. 1 singles and sold over 68 million records. His breakout single was "Unwound" which was released 34 years ago in 1981. Some of his favorite hit songs include: "All My Ex's Live in Texas" and "The Chair."
