Kathy Bee is a TV Producer, Host, Musical Playwright and an Award Winning Singer, Songwriter. Kathy Bee has always cherished the poem Footprints in the Sand and always have a copy of it at all times. She has always wondered who the real author is and why was it not known all this time. A very serendipitous event happened, and Kathy was able to meet Mary Stevenson through dinner where Mary invited Kathy herself. “God gave me the words, I just pushed the pencil.” Was how Mary described how she was able to write the poem. Mary wrote the poem when she was 14 years old and gave copies to anyone she knows that are going through a rough time. This is how the poem started to move around and started spreading all around the world. Kathy made a vow to make sure that Mary will get all the credit she deserved along with the last copy that Mary has that was dated back in 1939.
Footprints Miracles, Secrets & Lies documentary will let the whole world know that the true author of Footprints in the Sand is none other than Mary Stevenson herself. Kathy is convinced that God played a hand in her being fortunate enough to have met the real author of her most cherished poem.
