Time tracking for consultants leaves the per-seat bill behind with Wrap

Time tracking for consultants leaves the per-seat bill behind with Wrap
Wrap brand illustration
Time tracking for consultants gets team-based monthly plans from Wrap, with USD pricing based on active membership rather than a charge for each seat.

New York, NY, United States - October 13, 2026 - Time tracking for consultants leaves per-seat billing behind with Wrap, an app for agencies and service teams that prices by team-size band. Its published plans offer a different way to budget for the software: one monthly amount for the team within each band, with the thresholds stated up front.

Wrap's plans are free for up to 10 active members, USD 30 a month for 11 to 99, and USD 100 a month for 100 or more. All prices are per company in USD. Pending invitations and deactivated members do not count toward active membership. The pricing puts a clear alternative in front of consulting practices that would otherwise multiply a subscription rate by every paid seat.

Wrap's position is that bringing another consultant into the team shouldn't automatically add another time tracking charge. A practice with 12 people and one with 25 both pay USD 30 a month under the Team plan. The cost changes when the team crosses into a different band.

A growing practice can plan around the thresholds

For a 20-person consulting team, the monthly subscription is USD 30 in total. Adding five people keeps the team in that band. The same monthly price applies through 99 active members. Reaching 100 moves the practice to the USD 100 Business plan. The price of that change is visible before the team grows.

The same principle applies to the free tier. A practice with 10 people falls within the Free plan. Its eleventh person moves it into the USD 30 monthly band. Team pricing still has boundaries, and those boundaries belong in the budget alongside the cost at the current headcount.

Within a band, the practice can add people without recalculating the subscription for every seat. A per-user plan works differently: the basic seat charge comes from multiplying the applicable rate by the number of paid seats. Minimum purchases and billing commitments can also affect the amount due.

The software still has to fit the engagement

Wrap also publishes a consultancy overview covering daily records for client calls, research and delivery work. Client engagement records and reporting requirements matter when choosing a time tracker. A team should establish what it needs to retain and review before deciding which subscription fits.

A lower software bill alone doesn't establish that a product supports the practice's workflow. Required billing processes, integrations and access to records need to be checked against the selected plan. These are evaluation criteria, rather than claims that Wrap includes every capability a consulting team might need. Buyers can compare the current team, expected growth and required features together. A suitable free plan or a different billing commitment can change the outcome. Wrap's case is for an alternative to automatic seat-by-seat charges, with the team total and its limits made explicit.

The Wrap consultant guide sets out the considerations for consulting practices. Wrap pricing lists the current monthly plans and their terms.

About Wrap

Wrap is a time tracking app for agencies and service teams built around a simple position: price the team. Its monthly plans use team-size bands, and its guides and research help buyers examine time tracking costs and working practices.

Is a Reverse Mortgage a Good Idea? Broker Lists Six Yes Cases and Five No Cases

Is a Reverse Mortgage a Good Idea? Broker Lists Six Yes Cases and Five No Cases
An independent broker sets out the six situations where a reverse mortgage works, the five where it does not, and how a homeowner can tell which one is theirs.

HAMILTON, Ontario - October 13, 2026 - Is a reverse mortgage a good idea? An independent Ontario mortgage broker has published a direct answer for homeowners aged 55 and over, in the form of six situations where it works and five where it does not.

A reverse mortgage tends to be a good idea for homeowners aged 55 and older who plan to stay in the home for years and need the monthly pressure to stop. It tends to be a poor idea for a planned sale within a couple of years, where one-time set-up costs plus an early repayment charge usually make another route cheaper. The guide puts both cases in detail rather than hedging.

Three things it brings to the decision that the advertising does not:

"It depends is the true answer and it is no use at all to someone trying to decide. So I wrote down the six times I say yes and the five times I say no, and people can find themselves on the list," said Richard Hopkins, Mortgage Broker, licence M16000896.

The amounts are larger than most people assume. The share of a home's value available rises with the borrower's age, from a lower band in the mid-fifties toward the market's top tier for borrowers in their seventies. Homeowners who dismissed the idea on a guess about the amount are frequently wrong by a wide margin.

The growth of the balance is calmer than the fear. The guide cites the average balance as a share of home value in Canada's only audited reverse mortgage pool, which is a published figure rather than an estimate, and it is well below what most people picture when they imagine a balance compounding for years.

Scale. Roughly 60,000 Canadian households hold a reverse mortgage, borrowing billions in total, with new borrowing growing quickly. Whatever else it is, this is not a fringe product.

The guide is equally direct about the no cases, which include the planned near-term sale, a homeowner whose real problem is a short-term cash gap that a cheaper product would solve, and situations where a conventional refinance or a home equity line of credit would cost less and the homeowner can actually qualify for one.

Reverse mortgages let Canadian homeowners aged 55 and over borrow against their home with no required monthly mortgage payments, repaid when the home is sold, when the owners move out, or after the last borrower passes away. The homeowner stays on title and keeps ownership, and can never owe more than the home is worth when it is sold, provided the terms of the mortgage are kept.

The guide is written by Richard Hopkins, a Mortgage Broker (licence M16000896) with Dominion Lending Centres Homestead Financial, an independent Ontario brokerage licensed by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Ontario (brokerage licence #11711). It is free to read at:

Restore Suite Brings the Sauna and Cold Plunge Recovery Routine Home for U.S. Homeowners

Restore Suite Brings the Sauna and Cold Plunge Recovery Routine Home for U.S. Homeowners
Restore Suite 4-person outdoor infrared sauna in Canadian hemlock with a tempered glass door.
The Dallas-based online retailer offers infrared, traditional and portable saunas, cold plunge tubs and red light therapy devices, from portable ice baths to 4-person infrared saunas.

Dallas, Texas, United States - October 13, 2026 - Restore Suite, a U.S. online retailer of home saunas and cold plunge tubs, helps people build a complete recovery space at home. The catalog is built around contrast therapy, the routine of alternating time in a sauna with a cold plunge.

The lineup covers indoor and outdoor infrared saunas, traditional and barrel saunas, portable saunas and infrared sauna blankets, cold plunge tubs, water chillers and sauna heaters, with red light therapy panels to round out a recovery routine. Options run from portable setups for apartments and spare rooms to full-size outdoor saunas for the backyard.

Sized for how households actually use them

Most home sauna buyers start with one question: how many people will use it at once? Restore Suite organizes its saunas by capacity, heat type, wood and setting, from compact 1-person units for a spare corner to 4-person infrared saunas for couples and families who want to use the sauna together, in both indoor and outdoor models.

On the cold side, the catalog runs from foldable portable plunge tubs to chiller-compatible tubs and standalone water chillers. That lets buyers start with a simple cold plunge and upgrade later.

"Most people we talk to have tried a sauna at the gym or a cold plunge at a recovery studio, and they want that routine at home without guessing at what to buy," said a spokesperson for Restore Suite. "Our job is to make that decision clearer: real specs, real prices, and options sized for the space and the people who will use it."

Research first, then buy

Home saunas and cold plunges are large purchases that buyers often research for weeks. Restore Suite publishes free buying guides on its site, covering topics such as sauna sizing, hemlock versus cedar construction, cold plunge tub dimensions, and where a sauna can be installed at home.

Orders ship directly from U.S. manufacturer and distributor warehouses to the 48 contiguous states and Washington, DC. Larger items travel by scheduled freight delivery. The company's support team replies to customer questions within one business day.

Restore Suite plans to add more sauna and cold plunge brands to its catalog in the coming weeks.

Armada Launches New Platform Connecting Restaurant Workers and Operators, Kicking Off Nationwide Search for the Best in Hospitality

Armada Launches New Platform Connecting Restaurant Workers and Operators, Kicking Off Nationwide Search for the Best in Hospitality
Founded by hospitality veteran Starr Douglas, the new professional platform is kicking off a two-year, city-by-city competition recognizing the people and teams behind the restaurant industry

Atlanta, GA - October 13, 2026 - Armada, a new professional platform built for the restaurant and hospitality industry, is officially launching nationwide with a competition for the best hospitality professionals and teams.

With more than a decade of hands-on hospitality experience, Starr Douglas founded Armada after seeing the same disconnect play out across the industry: workers often have little insight into what it is actually like to work at a restaurant, while operators have limited visibility into the people behind the resume.

“There’s so much information that gets lost between a worker and a restaurant,” said Douglas, founder and CEO of Armada. “A resume can tell you where someone has worked, but not what it’s like to work alongside them. A job posting can tell a worker what a restaurant is looking for, but not what it’s really like to be part of that team. We wanted to give both sides a better picture before they choose to work together.”

For restaurants, that visibility can extend beyond a single hire. Chris Harter, a member of Armada’s board of directors and former president of Levy Restaurants and Patina Restaurant Group, brings decades of experience as a restaurant operator and executive.

“Operators are constantly trying to answer two questions: Who are the people we can trust to represent our restaurant, and where do we find them when we need them?” said Harter. “Armada gives restaurants a way to get to know hospitality professionals before they need to hire them, while building relationships with talent they can come back to again and again.”

Armada is the evolution of FrontHouz, building on five years of industry workforce insights and experience to create a platform where workers can explore restaurants, showcase their careers and build a portable professional reputation, while restaurants can showcase their workplace, discover talent and build relationships with professionals for current and future opportunities.

The name Armada reflects the company’s vision of the hospitality industry as one fleet: individual professionals, restaurant teams and operators navigating the industry together.

An Industry Celebration: All Hands by Armada

The vision comes to life through All Hands by Armada, an industry event series bringing together hospitality workers, teams and operators. The inaugural gathering drew more than 500 hospitality professionals representing 250+ restaurants, with management, front-of-house and back-of-house teams all represented.

Over the next two years, All Hands will travel to 100 cities alongside Armada’s nationwide competition, recognizing the workers and teams that make each hospitality community exceptional. Categories will include Best Server, Best Bartender, Best Crew and more, with additional categories evolving by market.

Celebrating Armada’s Atlanta Roots

In its first month in Atlanta, more than 1,000 hospitality professionals from more than 200 restaurants have joined Armada, establishing an early presence across hundreds of local teams.

Armada will celebrate its launch in Atlanta this October at Haunted Underground, taking over a Davy Jones-inspired haunted pirate ship as the nationwide competition gets underway. The Atlanta Best Crew in the City competition will culminate on December 1, when the winning crew is crowned.

From Atlanta, Armada will bring its competition and All Hands series to markets including Savannah, Charleston, Nashville, Orlando and Jacksonville, with additional cities to be announced.

About Armada

Armada is a professional platform built for the restaurant and hospitality industry, connecting workers and restaurants through a two-sided network designed to make hospitality hiring and employment more transparent.

Workers can explore restaurants, learn what it is actually like to work there, showcase their experience and build a portable professional reputation through vouches and endorsements. Restaurants can showcase their workplace, discover hospitality professionals, understand their experience and build relationships with talent for current and future opportunities.

Surplus Record, an industrial equipment marketplace operating since 1924, reviewed nearly 200,000 listings from more than 1,200 dealers and found electrical power equipment leads the secondary market. The company is also expanding its library of equipment buying guides.

Chicago, IL - October 13, 2026 - Surplus Record (surplusrecord.com), a family-owned marketplace for used and surplus industrial equipment, has released an analysis of current inventory on its platform. The review covers 197,747 active listings from 1,221 dealers across 1,889 equipment categories and shows electrical power equipment accounting for the largest share of supply in the used industrial equipment market.

The largest categories by listing volume were:

"Electrical gear has become the backbone of the secondary market," said Tommy Scanlan, President of Surplus Record. "With lead times on new transformers and switchgear still extended, plants and contractors are turning to the used market to keep projects moving."

The analysis also identified several high-volume categories where buyers have limited independent guidance, including mechanical stamping presses, coil handling equipment, variable frequency drives and industrial gearboxes. Surplus Record plans to add buying guides for these categories.

The IMARCS Foundation Releases Free Marine Science Curriculum in Five Languages

The IMARCS Foundation Releases Free Marine Science Curriculum in Five Languages
"I grew up homeschooled, so I know how much a good, ready-to-use resource means to the parents and teachers doing the work," said Michael Maddox, B.Sc., President of the IMARCS Foundation. "I'm grateful the Foundation is able to provide free resources that help the next generation learn about the ocean and how to take care of it."
Ready-to-teach units on coral reefs, giant clams, and clownfish are free to download in English, Japanese, Spanish, Simplified Chinese, and Thai, with more on the way

CONROE, Texas - October 13, 2026 - The IMARCS Foundation, a U.S. 501(c)(3) marine science nonprofit, has released a free marine science curriculum for classrooms and families, now available in English, Japanese, Spanish, Simplified Chinese, and Thai at imarcs.org/curriculum

The first two units, "Coral Reefs, Giant Clams, and Responsible Stewardship" and "Clownfish, Sea Anemones, and Responsible Stewardship," are written for grades 5 to 8 and each runs in a single 45 to 60 minute class period. Every unit includes a teacher overview, student reading, worksheet, and full answer key, and needs nothing beyond a printout and a pencil. The units are free to download and free to copy for classroom use.

Each unit comes in two editions with identical science. The English and Spanish standard editions include a verified NGSS crosswalk for U.S. classrooms. The Christian school edition sets Scripture alongside the science and grounds stewardship in Genesis 2:15.

The Foundation will add new free units regularly. Teachers and parents can request specific topics or a custom unit through the request form on the curriculum page.

The Foundation also operates a reef resident adoption program for its animals at the IMARCS facility in Japan, through which Family and Classroom participants receive monthly coloring pages and worksheets.

JADENS JD-410WF: The First Multi-Device Thermal Label Printer with 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz Dual-Band Wi-Fi

JADENS JD-410WF: The First Multi-Device Thermal Label Printer with 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz Dual-Band Wi-Fi
A multi-user, multi-device shipping label printer that keeps print jobs in order — even with no Wi-Fi

NEW YORK - October 13th, 2026 - JADENS has introduced the JD-410WF, a 4x6 shipping label printer built for workplaces where more than one person prints through the day. Dropped Wi-Fi connections, broken print queues when a second user connects, and the inability to print when the network goes down — these are the three common frustrations in shared label-printing environments that define most thermal label printers on the market today. The JD-410WF is the product JADENS built to solve exactly these frustrations, and it addresses all three.

How the JD-410WF Solves Them

The JD-410WF tackles these pain points. Dual-band Wi-Fi gives the connection the stable even under load. A built-in smart print queue keeps every job in line — so a second user doesn’t overwrite or interrupt the first. And when Wi-Fi isn’t available at all, Bluetooth, Ethernet, and USB provide alternatives so printing never has to stop.

Why Wi-Fi is key

The JD-410WF’s dual-band design gives teams a choice: 2.4 GHz provides broader compatibility and range for most environments, while 5 GHz offers a clearer signal in congested wireless spaces. Teams pick whichever band works better in their workspace — no rewiring required, just a more stable connection. That stability is the foundation of shared printing: when several people send jobs from phones and laptops at once, a steady connection keeps every label moving through the queue instead of dropping it partway through.

For consumers, dual-band means more than a lag-free, fast connection-it also means multi-user printing at a price small businesses can actually afford. Most affordable label printers are built for a single user over Bluetooth; stepping up to multi-person sharing has usually meant buying enterprise-grade network hardware. The JD-410WF sits in between — priced for small teams, but with dual-band Wi-Fi and a smart print queue, so a growing business doesn’t have to choose between making do and spending big.

Designed for shared, multi-user printing

On a common WiFi label printer, two people printing at the same time can mean overwritten jobs, lost labels, or a queue that resets mid-shift. For a team that depends on the printer all day, it means a day of chaos. The JD-410WF was built for exactly this.

The JD-410WF’s built-in smart print queue manages incoming jobs in order — so nothing disappears, no one has to reprint, and the sequence stays intact even during peak volume. The smart queue is what makes shared, multi-user printing actually work in practice. Without it, a printer shared across phones and laptops quickly becomes a source of conflict — who’s printing, who got skipped, who has to resend. With it, the printer simply runs, and the team focuses on shipping instead of managing the machine.

More Than Wi-Fi: Connection Options Built for Real Workspaces

Most Wi-Fi label printers on the market need Wi-Fi to function — Bluetooth connectivity is a feature many of them simply don’t have. The JD-410WF gives teams a way to print without a network at all, making Bluetooth not just a backup, but a genuine alternative connection option. For small businesses, warehouses, e-commerce sellers, and packing stations, that connection flexibility is what makes the JD-410WF practical in places where printing labels is part of the daily routine.

In a warehouse dead zone, a temporary packing station, or a home office where the router has gone down, that flexibility is what keeps the shipping line moving. USB offers a wired fallback that needs no network at all, while Bluetooth lets a phone or laptop print straight to the printer without joining the office Wi-Fi — handy for guest devices or anyone who shouldn’t be on the main network.

The JADENS app

Unlike conventional Wi-Fi printers, where adding a new user can automatically disconnect someone already connected, the JD-410WF lets new users scan a QR code to add the printer without a complicated setup and without interrupting anyone currently using it, supporting shared access for multiple users simultaneously. Beyond handling shared printing access, the app also comes with a built-in design suite built in — so teams can do more than just print.

The JADENS app has been downloaded nearly 400,000 times. The app comes with built-in AI tools: users can generate images and convert photos into cartoon-style graphics to design and DIY custom business labels without switching to a separate program. Essential tools include document scanning and OCR for converting paper records into editable text. For small businesses and independent sellers, that means faster label turnaround, more personalized packaging, and the ability to handle label design end-to-end within one app.

The app supports 21 languages, 62 built-in fonts, and 900+ templates. Unlike other printing software that routes data through the cloud, the JADENS app sends print data directly from the device to the printer — protecting the privacy and security of shipping addresses and invoices. Cross-platform support covers Mac, iOS, Android, Windows, and Chromebook. And it does so from whatever device is already on the desk: for Mac users, the printer can be configured over Wi-Fi and printed through directly after downloading the dedicated JADENS Mac driver — while the JADENS app is designed for phones, not Mac. AirPrint is not supported — printing requires the JADENS app, which users download to their phone or computer.

Print Fast, Spend Less, Cover Every Device

For a team printing labels all day, two things drive the real cost: how fast the printer keeps up, and what it consumes to do it. The JD-410WF reaches print speeds of up to 150 mm/s using 203 DPI thermal printing technology — requiring no ink, toner, or ribbons, and compatible with standard thermal labels, which helps reduce the cost per print. It supports standard 4-inch thermal labels, including 4 × 6-inch shipping labels, SKU barcode labels, round stickers, and mailing labels. Whatever label a team needs to print, the JD-410WF is built to handle it across every device in the workspace.

Combined with cross-platform support for iOS, Android, Windows, and Chromebook, the JD-410WF covers the full range of devices found in small businesses, warehouses, e-commerce operations, and packing stations.

About JADENS

Since 2018,JADENS has made professional label printers for home and business. Headquartered in North Carolina and Hong Kong, it serves North America, Europe, and Asia, pairing hardware for education, logistics, and home use with cross-platform software. The JADENS JD-410WF is available now. Current pricing and any promotional discounts are listed on the Amazon product page, and JADENS publishes a fuller feature comparison at jadens.com/blogs/news/what-makes-the-410wf-different.

SWIM: From Credit to Capital explains why capital access and capital deployment are separate decisions

SWIM: From Credit to Capital explains why capital access and capital deployment are separate decisions
SWIM: From Credit to Capital separates capital access from capital deployment. Access concerns identifying resources that may be available. Deployment concerns deciding what those resources should accomplish, what risks exist and what operating systems must support the objective.
SWIM expands its women-centered business education around the difference between obtaining capital and deciding how available capital should be responsibly deployed.

NEW YORK, NY - October 13, 2026 - SWIM — Successful Women Investing Money — is expanding its From Credit to Capital educational series around one of the book’s central distinctions: obtaining access to business capital and deciding what that capital should accomplish are separate decisions.

The initiative is being presented by SWIM New York Chapter President and co-author Cyra Gish.

Information about Gish and related business-capital discussions is available at https://nationwidebusinessfunding.com/cyrag.

Access creates options, not outcomes

Capital access concerns identifying resources that may be available to support an economic objective.

Capital deployment concerns deciding whether and how those resources should be used.

SWIM separates the two because an approval does not establish that a business strategy is economically sound.

Borrowed money is not revenue.

Available capital is not profit.

Financing does not guarantee business success.

“Access can create choices, but judgment determines what happens after the choice appears,” Gish said.

Deployment begins with the business model

A company evaluating inventory should understand how that inventory is expected to convert into revenue.

A business considering equipment should understand how the equipment may affect production or operating costs.

A company evaluating marketing should understand customer economics and how long a return may take.

An entrepreneur considering an acquisition should understand the underlying business and operating responsibilities.

Those are deployment questions rather than funding questions.

Nationwide Business Funding provides a separate pathway

Qualified entrepreneurs may work with Nationwide Business Funding to evaluate potential financing categories and independent providers.

The process may include comparing possible structures and considering sequencing around a defined business objective.

Independent providers make underwriting decisions and determine financing terms.

Nationwide Business Funding does not guarantee approval, and SWIM membership is not required for an evaluation.

Capital deployment can involve infrastructure

The SWIM book also examines operating infrastructure.

Capital may support an objective, but businesses also require people and systems capable of execution.

Depending on the company, that may include management, fulfillment, accounting, technology, marketing, sales or professional services.

SWIM therefore encourages readers to ask not only whether money is available, but whether the business has sufficient infrastructure to use it responsibly.

The downside case belongs in the decision

Responsible deployment includes examining what happens if expectations are wrong.

A customer-acquisition campaign may take longer than expected.

Inventory may move more slowly.

An acquisition may require more operational attention.

Equipment may produce less productivity than projected.

Financing obligations may continue even when results are delayed.

SWIM treats those possibilities as part of planning rather than as reasons to avoid entrepreneurship.

Capital is one component of financial independence

The broader message of SWIM: From Credit to Capital is that financial independence is not simply a larger amount of money.

It may include greater knowledge, ownership, informed judgment, systems, time and the ability to choose among alternatives.

The book is expected to be available through Amazon, with publication information also available on Cyra Gish’s page.

The educational series is intended to introduce individual concepts while the book provides the longer roadmap.

The service is built for clinics, multi-location medical groups, and independent practices that need a website patients can use easily on a phone, find in local search, and trust at first glance. The work covers custom WordPress design, location and provider pages, mobile performance, accessibility basics, and local search setup.

The medical service follows Southtown's industry-specific web design work for law firms and adds to a new Case Studies section on the agency's website, where results from local projects are published.

Southtown works directly with business owners and keeps web design, local SEO, Google Ads, and ongoing website care under one roof. The agency holds a 5.0-star rating across 93 Google reviews.

Dark Lord of Chaos is rooted in a rich history of live performance and decades of music passion. It represents a true creative renaissance. After stepping away from the stage during the late 80s and early 90s, the artist returned to the studio with a renewed perspective. The artists used the years of life experience into a powerful sound built to resonate in the chest.

The traditional country rock and hard rock influences subtly inform the project’s raw, driving energy, But, Dark Lord of Chaos firmly identifies within the Electronic / EDM framework. The production combines low-end punch with atmospheric layers. This gives modern EDM audiences an intense, physical listening experience.

“I love to make the listener feel the bass in their gut and enjoy the ride,” says Dark Lord of Chaos. “Coming back into music later in life brings a fresh fire. It’s about taking those deep-seated influences, retooling them for modern electronic production, and delivering a sound that hits with maximum impact.”

Mental Health and Personal Realities

At its core, Dog Days of Summer serves as a candid reflection on mental health, resilience, and real-world struggles. The album moves beyond standard festival anthems. It explores complex emotional arcs and cinematic storytelling.
